Biografia:

 R' yechiel mordchai Gordon ben Moses Aaron Gordon (1882-1964), the Rosh Yeshiva in the Lomza Yeshiva in Lomza and after the Holocaust in Petah Tiqva. R' Gordon was born in Troki, Lita, educated in Lithuanian yeshivot. He served in the rabbinate in the US from 1939-1951 and made aliyah in 1952. An erudite scholar he wrote Netiv Yam (Jerusalem 1956),before W.W.2 he went to America to collect money for the yeshieve, and so he survived the war.
